In July, “sensmile”, Munich’s first store for dental splints, was opened at the Schwabinger Tor: with state-of-the-art technology, tooth corrections can be performed without stress and dental braces.
This is done with the help of transparent tooth rails, which are produced directly on site in a 3D printer: without any dental impression – the teeth only must be scanned digitally and after 90 minutes the splint is ready.
As modern as the technology should be the ambience of the premises: the typical practical character should be avoided: the customers should just feel good! The architectural firm Rudolf & Mogendorf Innenarchitektur has successfully implemented this claim: the new sensmile Store rather reminds of a boutique than a doctor`s office. A lot of brass, Italian Carrara marble and real wood oak were used for the interior, this choice of materials creates a pleasant and noble atmosphere. The waiting area invites with a cozy couch and a large screen system to relax. The lamps from the company Leistroh Lichtdesign, which round off the modern design perfectly, also set a special accent.
The design concept continues as well as the modern technical equipment in the treatment area: a large screen on which the customer can follow the details of the treatment ensures the greatest possible transparency.
